Would you like to be a part of the work of the Caspari Center in Israel? Would you like to experience Jerusalem and the Holy Land first hand? We are always in need of mature, responsible volunteers to be part of our ministry staff in Israel.
The work consists primarily of assisting in the organization of our many courses and seminars, welcoming visitors to the Center, patrons to the library, cleaning, and a variety of administrative tasks. In addition, volunteers get the opportunity to experience Jerusalem and the Holy Land through tours and encounters with other ministries around the country.
We can provide you with a place to stay - your own room in the Caspari Center volunteer apartment* - a monthly bus/light train pass, and an interesting place to work in a friendly international environment. English is the main language used in the office. Volunteers should be at least 19 years old and in good health. Volunteers typically stay between 3 and 11 months, with preference given to applicants who are willing to serve a longer term. No formal qualifications are required. However, we are especially looking for volunteers that have a willingness to serve, an attention to detail, some experience with computers and website work, English competency, some writing skills and an interest in theology and/or Biblical history.
We have a limited number of volunteer positions. If you are interested in volunteering with us, please contact us for more information or to fill out an application form click here.
Note: Volunteers from Norway, Denmark and Finland may also be eligible for some additional support from our partner organizations in their respective countries. For more information, contact us.
* The sending organization will cover the cost of the room in the volunteer apartment. Volunteers coming on their own will have to pay for utilities.
